Wall Art: Vintage Style Travel Posters
Spotted these fab prints on Not On The High Street. I just adore retro travel posters and these would look great as a three up on a wall. Get yours here.

Designer of the Day: Emily McDowell
Introducing: Emily McDowell. Her cards are the antithesis to dated, overly saccharine cards. Bold, with modern feelings and colloquialisms, her designs are hugely popular. She describes herself as a designer of 'hand lettering and truth telling' which pretty much sums it up. Check out her website full of cards, prints and other lovelies here.

Designer of the Day: Ellen Giggenbach
Ellen Giggenbach has German heritage but lives and works in New Zealand. Her technique is very hands on and traditional - using paper cut outs and acrylic paint and she gets inspiration from German folk art and Mid-Century design.
Ellen says she likes very simple beautiful shapes, like straight lines and circles, and if you look, you'll notice, her work is almost only made up of these two things.
Her website can be found here, her blog here and her Etsy shop here.

Designer of the Day: Kelly Hyatt
Designer Kelly Hyatt is based in Sussex, where he oversees his design company Hyatt Associates as well as Lagom Design. Kelly founded Lagom Design in 2007, a successful, modern design, stationery and paper goods company which sells all over the world. Kelly's wrap collection has recently been shortlisted for a prestigious Henrie Award for 'Best Gift Wrappings' and it's not hard to see why. I love his use of bold, graphic shapes, combined with a sophisticated colour palette. In fact, I've been a fan of his work, without knowing the name behind it, for quite some time. See more at Lagom Design here.
